Machine Quilting is performed at My Quilt Shoppe by our experienced Gammill Quilting System artists. We know how important your quilting is to you. We know how many hours you have worked on each project because we are quilters too. We know about those vintage tops that Grandma made and you just found in the attic or inherited.

The Gammill Machine Quilting System is the original long arm quilting system. Our machine has a 14 foot bed that will allow us to quilt items as large as a King Size quilt top, bed cover or designer fabric. We have numerous stencils to choose from or we can free hand it with a beautiful meandering pattern that can be done in a small, medium, or large pattern. We offer three different choices of batting. Low loft poly, high loft poly, or cotton batting. If you prefer, you may send or bring your own batting. If you do not want to provide your own backing, we have muslin that we use that makes up a very nice quilt. We carry muslin in 45", 90" and 108" both in natural and white. If you do send your own backing, we request that you cut the backing at least four (4) inches wider and 4 inches longer. It is very important that you iron both the top and the backing before sending or bringing your top to the shoppe. In addition, it is helpful if you trim all the strings and double check all the seams before you get it. We can bind the quilt either by machine or by hand, it is your choice. If you are going to have us do the binding, be sure to send enough of the material you wish us to use for the binding. When you are ready to bring or send your top to us, we will be glad to give you an estimate. Simply send us an email with all the details and we will do the rest.

We take great pride in treating each quilt top as it is the only one we have to quilt. Our Shoppe is neat and clean, that is a very important factor when choosing a shoppe to have your tops quilted in. We will work with you to make those tough decisions about the quilting designs, thread color and binding choices. If you have a special occasion coming up and don't have time to piece a top, find a special piece of fabric, choose a stencil and let us quilt it for you. We can finish it with the binding of your choice—machine or hand. This makes a special quilt for a special occasion with very little time involved.

We treat all tops and fabric as though they were our own. We have a very clean facility and we can assure you that your tops will be taken good care of.
