Block Technique Club - Includes lecture/demo, kit and free pattern each month.

Learn the technique of piecing a new block pattern each month. This will be a monthly meeting lecture/demo. Learn the history of the block you will be piecing and the technique to put it together. We will be doing 12 different blocks. At the end of the year you will have 12 beautiful blocks to put together to have a great sampler quilt.

Serger Club 2008 - NEW this year! Serger Club will alternate each month with a specific Club for regular Serger Owners and on the following month for Serger Owners with the Cover and Chain capability. Each Club will meet the 4th Saturday of each month for 1½ hours.

Come join us on January 26th for our first meeting from 11am till 12:30

All Serger owners are welcome to review threading basics/ turning inside and outside corners and sewing in a circle. Make a simple pillow case, in the last half hour. Sign-up required to receive supply list.

Kids Club - The age old art of quilting is one we all want to pass down to the next generation. Let MQS help you teach your child/grandchild the basics of quilting, and machine usage and safety. Each month we will complete a square, and by the end of the year will have enough for a quilt! Your child is sure to walk away with not only a quilt square, but the confidence and knowledge to grow in this new hobby.

Bernina Mastery Classes - Each class will explore the "feet"ures of your Bernina and create a sample workbook. All Bernina owners are welcome. The CD workbook is provided. Sign up is required to join.

This class is for new owner's to learn what to do with all those feet you got with your machine and play with all the new stitches too. If you purchased your machine at MQS these classes are provided to you free of charge*. However, if you did not purchase your machine at MQS you are still welcome to join us for a nominal class fee.

Bernina 430/440 Sewing Machine Basics

These classes are designed for new owners of the Bernina 430/440/450 sewing machine. However if you need a refresher, feel free to join us for a nominal fee of $18.00 per class.
